Amanda Kluver Class of 1956 Scholarship Recipient “Her work is consistently of the highest quality."	< gn="bottom">

Amanda Kluver’s scholarship support was made possible through the generosity of the members of the Class of 1956… The Class of 1956 established this scholarship in honor of the great faculty at the University of Northern Iowa.
Major/Minor: Elementary Education and minor in Literacy and Coaching.

Hometown: Carroll, IA

Leading and Volunteering: Two year member of Homecoming Committee -Relay 4 Life captain and/or participant for 6 years running -Intramural Manager -Volunteer at Price Lab during recess and Unit II centers time -Participated in Adapt-a-Grandparent -Wrote letters to children in an orphanage of El Faro, Mexico.

Why UNI is special to me: UNI is special to me because of the size. I have come to know many of my professors; all of which are friendly and always helpful. The size also makes it easy to get to know the student body through campus events, classes, and dorm life.

Favorite Campus Setting : My favorite campus setting is Lawther field, especially on a sunny day. It is a nice place to do homework or visit with friends.
