Sue A. Joslyn

University of Northern Iowa
Associate Dean & Professor

Education:
I began my college career at Iowa State University in the field of forestry. That lasted a semester, then I transferred to UNI. Seven undergraduate majors later, I graduated from UNI with a BA in Economics in 1981. I received my paramedic license in 1982, and worked as a paramedic for several years, before going back to graduate school. I received my MA from UNI in 1987 in Cardiac Rehabilitation, and my Ph.D. in Epidemiology from The University of Iowa in 1990.

Areas of Expertise:
I love the study of human diseases. My expertise is in cancer, although I have interest in most diseases.
