Joseph Marchesani

Areas of Expertise:
I am the Coordinator of Audio/Video Production for Instructional Technology Services-Educational Technology at UNI. I supervise or perform all audio and video production that’s done for on-campus use. Previous to this, I was also responsible for all campus media distribution and duplication, and for video telecommunications. Additionally, I am the faculty advisor of UNI’s cable programming group, and a member of the UNI Cable Television Steering Committee. I have been at UNI for 34 years, and have over 40 years of teaching and production experience.
 
Research Interests:
My interests include how traditional media approaches and modernistic media approaches differ in their effect on communication for various audiences. I also have interest in the development of the franchising process for cities attempting to compose ordinances for control of cable television.
