I am currently an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology.
My duties include functioning as the Coordinator of the Instructional Technology Division
and lead instructor for the Performance and Training Technology emphasis. |
Research Interests:
My research interests include performance and training,
learner-centered teaching approaches, and professional
development with particular emphasis on collaboration,
communication, and interaction in the online environment. |

- Student productions for the last two years have won prizes in the
International Student Media Festival and the state of Iowa.
- Recognition for being the Chairperson of the AECT 2003 and 2002
Leadership Institute state competition of the International Student
Media Festival. I accepted the award with the students in Waterloo, IA in April, 2003.
- UNI Apple Polisher Award - Awarded an Apple Polisher in the name of Kari Schmidt. This
award is a special annual event sponsored by the UNI Student Alumni Ambassadors to honor
UNI faculty and staff members for their educational encounters and contributions to the university and the student body.
