Jill Uhlenberg, Curriculum and Instruction, received the Sally J.
Frudden Ethic of Caring Award at a ceremony held on November 17.

The Sally J. Frudden Ethic of Caring Award, established in the fall of 2004, recognizes a UNI faculty or staff member who provides leadership in developing cutting-edge-quality teacher preparation initiatives at UNI and in the state of Iowa. Recipients also must model integrity in their personal and professional lives. The award honors UNI Professor Emeritus Sally J. Frudden and her contributions to children and to education, and her ongoing support of the UNI College of Education and the Office of the Dean.
