PLS Teacher Institute

Dear Colleagues:

PLS faculty and staff have created and successfully implemented five PLS Teacher Institutes, in the past 2 1/2 years.   Over 250 teacher education students participated in each of the Teacher Institutes attending over 60 different sessions in each one.  The results have been very gratifying.    Many of you contributed to the success of the Institute, by encouraging your students to attend.   A few of you even gave some type of credit in your classes for attendance.  We are extremely grateful for this kind of support.

We are excited, therefore, to announce that the 6th PLS Teacher Institute will be offered Friday, February 18, 2005.    Information about the Institute is now available on the web at

We would like to ask your help in encouraging our teacher education students to attend.   Please encourage your students to access the web page.   They will be able to download schedules of sessions by February 4, 2005.
