Early Childhood Education Summit
UNI College of Education will host "Early Childhood Education Summit,
Friday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the UNI Commons. This summit is
by invitation only and will address quality pre-K for 4-year-old
children, including an environmental scan at the national level about
state-funded programs for 4-year-old children. Featured speakers
include Judy Jeffrey, director, Iowa Department of Education;
Stephanie Rubin, state program director, Pre-K Now; and Charles
Bruner, director, Child and Family Policy Center. For more

information on state-funded preschool programs across the nation at 7
p.m., Thursday, April 5, at AEA 267 in Cedar Falls. The April 5
