College of Education Dean Jeffrey Cornett, representing the American
Bar Association's Advisory Commission on Public Education, made a
presentation to the Black Hawk County Bar Association on November 8th.
entitled "Developing partnerships to promote thoughtful law-related
education in our community."

Following the meeting, Kevin Engels and Chad Swanson parents of MPLS
students and members of the Black Hawk County Bar Association and the
American Bar Association, presented law-related education materials
from the American Bar Association's Division of Public Education to
the Malcolm Price Laboratory School and its First Amendment
Project.
