The School Psychology major leading to the Specialist in Education Degree involves breadth of preparation as well as depth in a particular field of specialization. The School Psychology major is open to students who hold a master's degree from an accredited graduate school.

are defined in terms of a three-year graduate program, including internship and work taken on the master's degree. A minimum of 68-71 semester hours beyond the bachelor's degree is required for completing the program. This major is available on the thesis option only. A minimum of 30 semester hours is required. A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of 200-level course work is required. Successful completion of a final oral examination is required.
