The Technology and Teachers: Promoting Accessible Learning (T2 PAL) Center provides UNI preservice teachers, faculty, staff and local teachers with the tools necessary for making learning achievable and accessible to all preK-12 students, regardless of abilities. The center's staff is trained to help preservice and practicing teachers effectively incorporate accessible and assistive technology into the classroom.  The center prepares teachers to compete in today's ever evolving digital accessible world. The center accomplishes this goal by maintaining the latest accessible resources. Some of the available resources include:

  • Educational and formal training in Universal Design of Learning (UDL)
  • Accessible laptops, Chromebooks and iPads*
  • Electronic magnification devices
  • Braille learning and note taking devices
  • Text to Speech readers
  • Talking Word processors
  • Assistive study and organization tools...and much more!
