Black History Month Lecture | |||

The History Department sponsors a lecture in honor of Black History Month each year. This year's lecture takes place on Wednesday, February 1, at 7:00 p.m. in Seerley Hall 115. The lecturer is Dr. Leslie Schwalm from the University of Iowa, and the title of her lecture is: "Freedom in the Heartland: The Midwest in the Age of Emancipation." Schwalm teaches history and women's studies at Iowa.
