Week of Student Action 2006
Here is a tentative schedule for Amnesty international's week of student action!
Monday, April 3
7 PM: Teach in about CEDAW (convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women)
Tuesday, April 4
11 AM - 2 PM: Tabling, petition in the union.
Film: "women with open eyes" in the Center for Multicultural Education, room 109 B.
7 PM - 9 PM: "Take Back the Night" in Maucker Union Ballroom C.
Wednesday, April 5
7 PM: Benefit concert (location TBA).
All proceeds will go to a local women's shelter.
Thursday, April 6
11 AM - 2 PM: Tablng, petitioning in the union.
Film: "Women with Open Eyes" in the Center for Multicultural Education, room 109 A.
7:30 PM: candlelight vigil at the corner of College St. and University Ave.
Friday April 7
11 Am - 2 PM: Bake sale in the union from.
All proceeds will go to a local women's shelter.
