Why do I enjoy working with international students?

Living and travelling abroad can instill a sense of a global community.  Language is a powerful tool for creating and accessing opportunites, a reason for which I have enjoyed the pursuit of foreign tongues.  Because of the strong impact that experiences abroad can have on a person, I find solidarity interacting with others who also have had international experience.  Having walked in the shoes of the foreigner, I feel a calling to pass language on to other internationals in pursuit of their dreams.
