International Experience:
Traveling to experience and learn about different cultures and languages has appealed to me since a very young age, so as soon as I had an opportunity to fulfill my dream, I grabbed it. This dream brought me to the US for a year to learn English. Then it landed me in Nagoya, Japan, for four and a half years, where I taught English to children, middle school students, and adults. There, I could learn some things about Japan and Japanese people. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to work in Cuernavaca, Mexico, with a group of students of Spanish for three weeks. There, I could experience some things about that region in Mexico. I am sure I will travel and discover other cultures; in the meantime, being a teacher at CIEP offers me a window into other countries and cultures which I might, otherwise, never experience. That is why I love my job!
