Social & Cultural Activities
The CIEP offers activities which allow opportunities for international students to meet other international and American students, while learning about American culture and celebrations. The different activities that are provided are coffee hours, holiday parties, potlucks, movie and game nights, field trips, and cultural lectures. There is also a Conversation Partner Program, International Friendship Host Family Program, and Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). These are important listening and speaking activities for CIEP students. They provide students enjoyable opportunities to develop their English skills outside the classroom, as well as to learn about living in the American culture.
