English Placement Exam
The English Placement Exam is a proficiency evaluation. It is a 2-hour test that consists of four parts:
- 50-minute writing test
- 30-minute grammar test
- 45-minute listening test
- 10-15-minute interview
- 30-minute reading test
Newly admitted CIEP students must take the English Placement Exam before registration. This exam helps us evaluate your English language ability in order to place you in the correct classes for Reading, Grammar, Writing, and Listening/Speaking.
