TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (TOEFL)

Institutional TOEFL

The CIEP offers an institutional paper-based TOEFL once per session (about every 4 months). The scores from this test will not be accepted for admissions purposes at any other university besides UNI.

Students who would like to take the institutional TOEFL should be enrolled in Level 5 or higher for all CIEP classes. Non-CEIP students will be placed on a stand-by list. A valid form of ID will need to be presented at the testing time.

The cost is $35.00 and can be paid in the CIEP Office (Baker 72) by cash or check.

Universal TOEFL

UNI is a testing center for the internet-based TOEFL. More than 8,500 colleges, agencies and other institutions in over 130 countries accept TOEFL® scores.

Registration Information

To schedule to take an internet-based TOEFL examination, have ready a Mastercard, Visa card or American Express card and call:

• 1-800-529-3590 (TTY)

The cost is approximately $180.00.

A 4.5 hour appointment is reserved for the internet-based TOEFL exam. Students will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to the testing time and provide a vaild form of identification. The next internet-based TOEFL is:
