Conversation Partner Program
The Conversation Partner Program has been a successful program at the CIEP for six years. This program pairs American students, staff, and professors at UNI with students in the CIEP. Partners meet a minimum of one hour each week throughout the academic year. It is required that the students speak English for one hour during the time that they are together. This provides a cultural exchange for both partners, while one is learning English in a conversational setting.
To apply, please fill out an application form in the CIEP Main Office (Baker Hall 72), or download the application here. Once completed, return it to the office secretary.
