The Department of Theatre at the University of Northern Iowa
maintains
a high profile of activity in regional and national
organizations and conferences,
such as the American College Theatre
Festival (ACTF) and University/Regional
Theatre Auditions (U/RTA).
It is housed in the Strayer-Wood Theatre. Four
other buildings make up
the fine arts complex on campus: the Kamerick Art Building,
the
Communication Arts Center, the GBPAC, and Russell Music Hall.
