The College of Humanities
and Fine Arts at the University of Northern Iowa envisions a community
of scholars and students working together in a diverse and integrated learning
community. Such a community is devoted to exploring and communicating knowledge,
to creating art, and to every aspect of human communication, as well as
to sharing the thought and methods, which underlie this exploration and
creation. The College continues to value the celebration of the teacher/scholar/artist.
And, although we are already strongly focused upon reaching out to the
community and to the state, we see a yet increased effort to share our
knowledge, our skills and our artistic accomplishments with a wider community
beyond our campus.
