The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Northern Iowa invites applications for two renewable-term non-tenure track instructor positions in Chemistry. Requirements include a Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field (a doctorate in these same fields is preferred), a demonstrated commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher, and demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Previous teaching experience preferred. Pre-employment background checks are required. The successful candidates must be able to teach 1000- and 2000-level lecture and laboratory courses in chemistry for majors and non-majors including general, organic, or analytical chemistry.
