Which lamp do I use? 

  • For translucent objects (such as overhead transparencies), press the “BASE” button for the base lamp to light the object from underneath.  Press the button again to turn the lamp off.
  • For solid objects, press the “UPPER” button for the upper lamp to light the object from above. Press the button again to turn  the lamp off.

How do I Zoom?

  • Press the WIDE button to zoom out, and the TELE button to zoom in.
