CURRICULUM

Simplifying for Wellness

A curriculum packet, called Simplifying for Wellness, focuses on giving adults skills and motivation to assess their lifestyle choices and to take action to simplify.  Published in 1998, this six-session packet may be adapted for use in a variety of educational formats. It includes:

12 hours of lessons, including practical tips for simplifying;
more than 60 pages of overhead masters;
more than 30 pages of handouts;
background information on the simplicity movement;
sample promotional materials;
a bibliography;
an evaluation form;
and other useful tools.

The curriculum is designed to be presented by a trainer who may be an accomplished educator or a lay person who elects to lead discussions. It is well-suited for use in non-formal educational settings by wellness and human resources professionals, church leaders and volunteers, environmental educators, and extension specialists.

The cost of the curriculum is $17.50, including shipping and handling. (Make checks payable to CEEE-Simplify).

A sampling of two of the handouts in the packet is available for viewing, as is the packet cover.
