Spring 2007 Races! We are trying to choose a date for the JSS race here at the CEEE. The possible dates have been narrowed down to the last week of April or the week of May 11-17. We're back! Hope all your holidays were great. We've been getting a few questions lately about the operation of the cars. They only work in direct sunlight or very bright artificial light. They do not charge-they just run when sunlight activates the panel. Thank you so much to all who have filled out and returned the questionaire! We've gotten some marvelous and helpful responses.

Today is the last day of Fall 2007 Semester classes! So, I will be taking finals and preparing projects and papers for the next week. Please be patient once again as things may slow down. I am doing my best to keep up with holiday demand from Radish orders and Spring semester orders from teachers and plan to be here most days over break to keep on top of things. Happy holidays to everyone!! :-)

Motors are in! If you've placed a large order with us recently or are waiting for kits, please continue to be patient, we should have them soldered to panels and shipped to you soon. Last week we were out of the office all week for Thanksgiving/Fall Break, so shipping and communication resume today. :-)

Please be patient. Due to the great demand for our car kits, we have run very low on materials, so shipping may slow down for a bit. We have ordered more supplies (motors) and plan to get orders out smoothly and quickly.

Want to know when your cars got shipped or if we've recieved your order? Check the chart on the Borrow a Car Kit (for Teachers) link on the home page and scroll down. The chart is getting big (YAY!) so you may have to look through it to find your name.

We got new solar panels this fall to put in our kits, and they're great! Unfortunately, the wires on them are a little lighter weight than we thought they would be, so please be careful with them when your students have them, as they snap off the panel and the motore more easily than the old ones. We have quite a few of these panels in stock right now, but we are going to make our next order have tougher wires. If your wires do snap off the motor, we include a soldering iron in the tool kit.
