Car Kit Order Form: Send order form back with signature to CEEE Jr. Solar Sprint Cedar Falls, IA 50614-0293.
To speed up the process you may email the order form back to higby@uni.edu or jrsolarsprint@uni.edu.

Each kit includes:
  • One 3" X 5" piece of corrugated plastic
  • One 4" aluminum front axel
  • One 4.5" aluminum rear axel
  • Two larger rear wheels
  • Two narrow front wheels
  • One PV panel with wires soldered to one motor
  • One or more larger axel gear
  • One or more smaller motor gear

Other materials that should be available for construction:

  • Scrap pieces of corrugated plastic
  • Tool capable of cutting corrugated plastic into desired sizes/shapes
  • Hot glue guns and sticks of hot glue
  • Rubber bands
  • Model cars for design ideas
  • Sunlight, overhead projector, or other bright light source
**Car kits are for purchase or borrow. If you would like to borrow, you may order them for free and keep them up to 4 weeks. When you are finished you must return them through mail or drop-off. The mailing address is: CEEE Jr. Solar Sprint Cedar Falls, IA 50614-0293. If you would like to purchase car kits you must fill out an order form and indiciate it is for purchase. Car kits are $12 each.

When the date shipped appears in red and italics, that is the date the educator has requested the kits for. When the order has been shipped, the date it has been shipped on will appear in standard black font.
