Alliant Energy Iowa Electrathon

Monthly Reports

Welcome to the 2008 season for the Iowa Electrathon

The monthly reports should follow this basic format and are to be recieved by the first of each month:

  • School Name / Organization
  • Team Name (if applicable)
  • Car Number ( and Name if applicable)
  • A short (1 page) description of what was accomplished since the last report
    (For those teams with multiple cars, please have a multi-page document with eaching vehicle having its own writeup page )

    • Due Date
    To be covered
    January 7Work done in September to December
    February 1Work done in January
    March 3Work done in February
    April 1Work done in March and items detailed below

    When you send your reports, send them to electrathon@uni.edu
    Please send reports as attachments (Word, Adobe, txt).

    For the April report, please include:
  • the year the car was built
  • the class you would like to compete in
  • the list of the major change(s) completed
  • Founders Award nomination (can be sent as separate email if preferred)
    • This information will be checked against the final report for the inspection sheet.

    Don't forget to send Signed Liability Forms and Team Registrations to:
