General Design

There are a lot of things to consider before beginning to build your car, including the type, placement, and number of wheels (3 or 4?); location of motor, driver, and batteries for optimal stability (center of mass considerations); and choices for the frame, body, and suspension. Bringing these ideas together in preliminary drawings, sketches, and models is an important step before beginning construction. All of these concepts are dealt with in this section of the manual.
