Drive Train

The drive train includes everything needed to make your car go, including the energy source (batteries), the system that gets this energy to the motor (electrical system), the electrical motor, and the gears that will transmit the power to the wheels. Safety is a primary consideration in this section. Direct current is dangerous, and students must understand these systems to work safely on them.
