Resources
The UNI CDC has a cooperative relationship with Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) provided by Exceptional Persons, Inc., in Waterloo, Iowa. CCR&R is a program that provides support services to parents, child care providers, and the community in response to child care needs.
CCR&R is staffed by child care professionals, who help parents locate child care services. They provide information on child care centers, family and group day care homes, preschools, before-and after-school programs, and care for children with special needs. CCR&R does not provide care or place children in care; it does provide information to assist parents in making informed decisions concerning the care of their child. Referral services are available at no cost.
