Child Care Resource and Referral Services
The University has a cooperative relationship with the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) provided by Exceptional Persons, Inc. in Waterloo. CCRR is a program that provides support services to parents, child care providers and the community in response to child care needs.
The CCRR is staffed by child care professionals, who help parents locate child care services. They provide information on child care centers, family and group day care homes, preschools, before-and after-school programs, and care for children with special needs. CCRR does not provide care or place children in care; it does provide information to assist parents in making informed decisions concerning the care of their child. Referral services are available for an annual fee that is based upon family income. Once the fee is paid, parents may use the services as necessary for one year free of any further charge. There is no charge for families with an annual income under 75% of state median income.
