Case Interviews

Case interviews usually involve solving specific problems on the spot. These interviews require you to listen carefully the description of a situation and rapidly put together a plan to solve the problem. Many consulting and business firms use this type of interview. Cases are usually hypothetical scenario-based problem solving activities and brain teasers intended to demonstrate evidence of your skills and competencies such as logical and analytical reasoning, creativity, inquisitiveness, practical judgment, response to pressure and lack of information, and problem-solving abilities. The interviewer is not looking for the “correct answer” but the thought process.
