Alternative to Paper Assignment

Instead of writing two papers, you can write one paper, and so the total points in the class would be reduced by 25 points. Selecting this option should in no way affect your grade, as the grading cut-off percentages remain the same.

You can always write another paper for extra-credit. If you have already written a second paper, you may select one of them to count for extra-credit or you can elect to follow the original syllabus.
