Meet the Best of the Class of 2009

The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and KWWL Television co-hosted the 24th annual
"Best of the Class" celebration honoring valedictorians or top graduating seniors from nearly
120 high schools in northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin.

On Sunday, May 3, nearly 90 honorees attended an event at UNI to be taped for a series of public service
announcements, which will air on KWWL during the month of May.

"We couldn't be happier about sponsoring Best of the Class," said UNI President Benjamin Allen, "With more than 90
percent of our students coming from Iowa, it makes sense that we take an active role in saluting Iowa's
outstanding students."
