. . . Why for only one day
(October 31st) out of the year . . .
My favorite houses were ones
that put out displays/decorations of pumpkins, ghosts, ghouls, witches,
and cemeteries, and played haunted music. The very best part was the yard
decorations. Because of this, Halloween has become one of my favorite
holidays of the year.
Many people say that I have
taken Halloween decorating to an extreme. Back in October 2004, I started
off with a few pumpkins in a pumpkin patch
with a cd playing the sounds of the night. Since the first yard haunt,
I have bought, created, painted a collection of items to transform my
yard into a childs imagination. Every year, Halloween decorating has become
a passion and has expanded
with more items, more projects, more planning time then the year before.
Happy Haunting from Washington Street!
. . . What does the
future hold . . .
