UNI Athletic Training and CVYSA Soccer Injury Study

Thanks for taking the time visit our website. This website was created to provide the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association (CVYSA), coaches, and parents with information about this study. My name is Kristin Stoneberg, ATC, I am the CVYSA Certified Athletic Trainer, but I am also a master's degree student at UNI. My advisor (Thomas P. Dompier, PhD, ATC) and I are interested in learning how many and what types of injuries occur to youth soccer players.

The study is now complete. We would like to thank all the CVYSA administrators, coaches, parents and players for participating and making the study possible. Parents may contact Kristin Stoneberg, MS, ATC at (stokri@uni.edu) if you still wish to recieve your child's adult height estimate.

Project summaries were distributed at the soccer complex this past summer, at this time we cannot post results here on this website until the abstract and manuscript have been submitted for publication. Please check back at a later date.
