Why did you choose the Athletic Training Education Program at UNI?

Communication when applying to the program was outstanding...along with what I had heard about the program itself.

Have there been any healthcare professionals who have mentored or inspired you?

My last rotation with Dave Fricke inspired me to work hard and set forth more goals for myself and my future.

What field experiences have you enjoyed the most and found the most rewarding?

At Waterloo West High School...students were awesome to work with along with the coaches and administration. Lots of learning opportunities.

Any advice or tips for incoming students or other interested persons?

Don't fall behind in your studying, keep ahead of your classes and learn the material in the first two years of the program, it will really help with your eval and treatment experiences.

What are future plans after UNI?

Attend Physician Assistant school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

(Florida weather is great, you guys should try it sometime...ha!)
