"A Question of Faith" is an all media, national juried exhibition of new work. The principle mission of the exhibition is to present the enormous impact of religion and spirituality on all aspects of life as represented by a wide variety of artists and art practices.

The College of Education of the University of Northern Iowa will assume the publication of the scholarly journal Religion and Education this year. "A Question of Faith" is hosted by the UNI Gallery of Art and sponsored by the UNI College of Education, the UNI Department of art, the journal Religion and Education, and the Iowa Arts Council.

ELEANOR HEARTNEY


Currently a contributing editor for Art in America, New Art Examiner and Artpress, Heartney is an established member of the international art world. A recipient of fellowships from the Asian Cultural Council and the New York Foundation for the Arts, she is also the author of Postmodernism(2001) and Critical Condition: American Culture at the Crossroads (1997).
