The UNI Department of Art has a current student enrollment of about 350 majors, and a young, energetic faculty of 16 full-time teachers of art, design, art history and art education. There are few comparable schools in the country where the teachers are so deeply committed to classroom teaching, and, at the same time, have attained such high levels of recognition in the professional fields in which they specialize.
