Committees
Marketing and Promotion: The marketing committee is in charge of getting our name out throughout campus. The marketing committee oversees the American Humanics brochure and packet, the American Humanics website, newsletter, and t-shirts.
Resource Development: Resource Development in charge of raising funds for projects that American Humanics is working on. The resource development committee in particular is in charge of the annual fundraising campaign to raise money for American Humanic students to attend the annual American Humanics Management Institute. Resource Development plans fundraising events such as the Duck Dash and Younkers Day coupon sales.
Membership and Social: The membership committee is in charge of bringing in new members and retaining memberships from the past. The membership committee reaches this goal by visiting classes, setting up tables around campus, and planning awesome social events throughout the academic year.
Professional Development: Professional Development works on networking with nonprofit organizations for future benefits, as well as helping American Humanic members build professionally. Professional Development schedules speakers, tours, resume building, and schedules one professional development event per month.
Community Service: The community service committee is in charge of planning and organizing the American Humanics 500 hour community service project that is completed annually. This year the community service committee is in charge of 500 community service hours to help Cedar Valley and it’s surrounding areas recover from the flood (to be completed by all AH members).
