Who runs American Humanics?
American Humanics is lead and run by students. While university professors are in attendance at executive meetings and association meetings, all projects, activities, and meetings are planned and implemented by American Humanic students that have volunteered for leadership positions.
What does American Humanics do?
American Humanics provides great opportunities for students to build professional development skills, earn certification in American Humanics, participate in meaningful and fun events, attend nonprofit conferences, and the opportunity to recieve internships and scholarships that other students may not have access to. Not to mention, American Humanics builds relationships between students who are interested in making a difference in the nonprofit sector.
When and where are the student association meetings?
Student association meetings currently take place on Wednesday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in HPC 112.
Why is American Humanics so important?
American Humanics is very important for many different reasons. First and foremost it provides great opportunities for students involved in the association. However, it also provides resources and assistance for area nonprofit organizations, creates future nonprofit leaders, and builds collaborative relationships between nonprofit organizations.
