Goals for Environmental Career Day

*  Information and connect students to academic programs (majors, minors or certificates) at both the undergraduate and graduate level that will provide a foundation for success in environmental career opportunities

 

*  Expand student knowledge of potential environmental career directions and opportunities

 

*  Enhance awareness and understanding of experiential learning for student both through on-campus and off-campus (including coop or internships) options.

       - Career and /or skill preparation

 

*  Education

 

       - Academic preparation at UNI - undergraduate and graduate

       - Environmental / green issues and future trends

* Internships / experiential learning opportunities

 

* Networking with professional in the field of environmental careers / green jobs

 

 

As we have prepared for this career day, we have begun development of a Green Careers Information document that will be presented as a web page for use and reference for faculty and students before and after the Environmental Career Day.
