• Student Organizations & Activities - Explore student organization information, resources, and activities/events.


• National Student Exchange (NSE) - NSE enables students to attend one of 188 colleges and universities across the United States, its territories and Canada for one or two semesters while paying UNI tuition.


• Study Abroad - The Study Abroad Center helps UNI students plan for and participate in a study abroad experience. This is the place where students may begin their search for an educational experience abroad that fits their academic, professional, and personal goals.


• Global Experiences - The University of Northern Iowa offers a variety of opportunities for UNI students, faculty, and staff to experience the world. The learning experiences can take the form of study abroad, a UNI course offered overseas, or practical experience through international research, work, or service.


• UNI Cooperative Education / Internship Program - The Cooperative Education/Internship program is an academic program designed to complement a student's formal education with practical work experience directly related to the student's major.
