- Academic Learning Center - The Academic Learning Center serves all students on the UNI campus who wish to receive additional academic support outside of the classroom. The ACL provides students with a variety of supportive services that will enhance academic achievement and success. Resources also include the Math Center and the Writing Center. Additionally, the Center also serves as a resource for faculty. Through services to students, faculty, and staff, the Center works to enrich the total learning environment
- Reading & Learning Center - The Reading & Learning Center teaches students to develop efficient and effective reading, learning, and test preparation strategies.
- Examination and Evaluation Services - Staff is available to help students select, prepare and register for appropriate examinations to achieve academic goals.
- Academic Services for Athletes - An athletics academic advisor is available to assist athletes with registration, scheduling, exploration / declaration of major, tutoring referrals, life skills workshops, and referrals for support from Center for Academic Achievement, Disabilities Services, Counseling Center, etc.
- UNI Counseling Center - The Counseling Center provides a variety of services to UNI students. Counseling services are confidential and provided free of charge to students who have paid the Student Health Fee. There may be a fee charged if any are tests administered. Faculty and staff seeking counseling services are encouraged to utilize the Employee Assistance Program.
- Office of Disability Services - Student Disability Services (SDS) is a University of Northern Iowa resources that provides specialized services to enhance the overall academic, career, and personal development of each student with a disability.
