Why did you choose UNI?

Because when visiting if felt big enough to where I always had the opportunity to be meeting new people, but at the same time I'd have multiple opportunities to be seeing people that I recognize everywhere. I also got a great financial aid award package, and when I visited they made me feel like they wanted me at their school.

What's the best thing about UNI?

How nice and helpful everyone is on campus, and the opportunities to get involved on campus and in the community.

What kind of on-campus organizations/activities are you involved in? How does that involvement enrich your overall college experience?

I attended several transfer luncheons to get acquainted with other transfer students. I did not get to get involved in as much on campus activities as I would like because I had a very demanding job (off campus) but several on campus organizations reached out this past year and made themselves known. This upcoming year I plan on working a lot less and really getting involved on campus to take advantage of the last year that I have as an undergrad.

What do you like best about your major?

I like that there are several career paths available to me when I graduate from college.

doing my best to create a competitive resume, prepare for graduate school, and continue to connect and maintain friendships with other students here.

What's your favorite place on campus and why?

The Union because the food is AMAZING!

What advice would you give high school students getting ready for college?

Be open to change, growth, and keep an open mind when meeting people from all around the world because college is not like high school in the sense where you are seeing the same people everyday. Take advantage of the opportunity to be outside of your comfort zone, and face new experiences and challenges.

My quality and affordable education!

Has the Financial Aid Office helped you with your college education? If so, In what ways?

Yes! They are always available to answer my questions and were there to help me through the process of figuring out financial aid when I decided to study abroad.

What do you plan to do with your UNI education?

I plan to build and grow on it. I would like to go graduate school to further my education and I have UNI to thank for providing me a great foundation thus far.
