What's your responsibility related to working with Admissions?
I work at the front desk in the Admissions Office, located in the
Towers. I welcome all prospective
students and parents for their UNI visits and aid all current and prospective students in anyway I can.
What do you like best about your job?
The Admissions Staff! They're great people to work with and extremely helpful and friendly. They're like my second family!
Why did you choose this job?
I'm a
transfer student I was really looking forward to getting involved at UNI and learning all I could about the college.
I also wanted to be able to have an impact on prospective students and explain why UNI's the best choice for their futures.
How did you choose UNI?
I chose UNI, because it seemed like the best transition from Kirkwood Community College. I signed up for a visit and met with an admissions advisor and got a campus tour, just
like all prospective students. The first impressions UNI gave really won me over. The campus was beautiful and the people were extremely friendly. I knew I belonged here at
UNI from that moment.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Get involved at college! The more people you meet, the more fun and memories you will make. UNI's great and has endless
opportunities available, so take advantage of them!
