Job Title: Student Alumni Ambassador
What's your responsibility related to working with Admissions?
I am involved in
Student Admissions Ambassadors here at UNI. With SAA, I get
the opportunity to be on student panels, give campus tours, and work with incoming students that are looking at UNI.
What do you like best about being an Ambassador?
What I like the best about being involved in SAA is being able to work with families and students and showing them what UNI is all about and what it has to offer.
Why did you choose to join SAA?
I wanted to be able to work with students and share my story about why I chose UNI as the place for me to attend
What have you enjoyed most while at UNI?
The best thing that UNI has done for me was help me travel the world. During my college career I have been involved in
Camp Adventure Youth Services. With Camp Adventure I have traveled to Germany, Hawaii, Japan, and Tennessee. While in
Germany I was able to travel to Italy, Switzerland, Austria and all over Germany. Also at UNI I am involved in the UNI Varsity Men's Glee Club; during Spring
Break of 2006 we traveled to Ireland, Wales, and Great Britain. Being involved in Glee Club has given me the chance to sing in some of the best venues that
Europe has to offer. Being involved in these two organizations at UNI has enriched my life in so many ways and has opened my eyes to many different cultures and ways of life.
What's something unique about you?
Something that is unique about me is that I am a huge fan of the
UNI Volleyball team. During my
four years at UNI, I have only missed two home games. Panther Volleyball is one of the most exciting things any student could ever watch here at UNI.
