I chose to transfer to UNI because I wanted the feel of a large school but the perks of a small school. I liked how UNI is in one central location and not spread out. I also liked the smaller class sizes.
UNI made my transfer process stress free! I used the online service “Transfer Plan-It” to figure out how my classes would transfer and which classes I still needed to obtain while at UNI.
I would tell them that it is a great school and I wish I would have gone here all four years.
Everyone is friendly and inviting.
Coming from a smaller school, the crowd of people in between classes scared me at first. It took me a while to get used to it and to realize they are all students just like me.
For on-campus organizations I joined the psychology club. It is a great way to get involved and meet people in my major. I also joined a sorority. By joining a sorority, I had an instant support system and it was a great way to get involved on campus and in the Cedar Valley community.
I have had many great classes and professors that have influenced me to be a psychology major. The professors really seem like they want to get to know me as an individual and are always willing to help when the need arises.
What I like best about being a psychology major is that I have enjoyed all of my classes and professors. The professors make the subject matter fun and interesting to learn about.
At UNI, I am making memories!
The Union is my favorite place on campus! I enjoy going there between classes to study, grab a quick snack or meet up with friends.
The Financial Aid Office is always willing to help and assist you.
With my UNI education I hope to obtain a job working with youth.
