I heard that there are a lot of resources on campus that can help me be successful. It was neither too close to home nor too far.
UNI provides many opportunities to meet people with whom to network. I also like the National Student Exchange and Study Abroad opportunities that are offered and in which I participated.
The campus isn’t as large as you’d expect and how many people at the university want to see me be a successful person even after I graduate.
I’m involved in many student organizations ranging from organizing concerts to multicultural organizations. Being involved in student organizations allows me to meet new students.
It has been great. The opportunity to take my Capstone course abroad opened my eyes to another culture.
It allows me to be versatile in pursuing a career in different fields in both the private and public sector.
I am expanding my opportunities on a national and global scale.
The Union, that’s where I see most of the people I know all at one time after a long day of classes.
Don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone and don’t overload yourself with work.
The connections I’ve made with faculty and staff; also my friends that I’ve made while at UNI.
I want to pursue a career in human resources in the public or private sector or become a study abroad advisor.
