WIM - Woman in History Month

Cedar Falls Public Library was the site of a Women in Motion event durning March--Women in History Month. Anne Schuessler, Dee Lynch, Judy Focht, Gayle Wood and Liz Poole designed, set up, and (excuse the expression) manned an exhibit about famous women of past and present time. Children were invited to match photos with the names of women. One girl noticed that Amelia Earhart was NOT our display board. Good for her! The table adjacent had a wonderful display of books featuring famous women that were available from the library's collection.

One of the library's display cases housed another trifold poster featuring additional women. Our group donated the book A Is For Abigail by Lynn Cheney to the library's Children's Department.

Some of the women who play bridge and contribute $2 for EF each
time they play. We happened to be playing at the Women's Club this time.
Hands enjoying playing bridge! It is the one time we try to be
quiet and use our brains. But between hands we have great fellowship.
