Although it took me awhile to get around to it, I have been able to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. This would not have been possible if I had had to drive anywhere to attend classes on another campus. With the 2+2 program I was able to work ¾ to full-time and still completed my education in four years.

How has the program helped you professionally?

Going through my student teaching semester, I felt very prepared for what lies ahead. I have used many skills from both my management course and my methods courses. 

What opportunities did 2+2 open for you?

I’ve had the opportunity to get to know more people in the community through my field experiences.  I’ve gotten my foot in the door in many different schools, and met people through the teachers, administrators, and parents of students.
